Can I have a non-surgical nose job, if I’m thinking of getting a real rhinoplasty later?
One should avoid any non-surgical rhinoplasty before traditional nasal surgery.
Nasal injections themselves may have complications or side-effects that may interfere with future cosmetic rhinoplasty. Scar tissue may form and nasal cartilage may be altered with any procedure, even non-surgical rhinoplasty. Fat, silicone, or other specific injections should not be injected into the nose. However, certain products such as hyaluronic acid (Restylane and Juvederm) might be used if you wait at least over one year before rhinoplasty. Some residual injected material may still be present in the nasal tissue long after the initial treatment.
Speak with a rhinoplasty surgeon to determine the best option for you, before any non-surgical rhinoplasty.
