What is it?
A liquid facelift is a non-surgical solution for patients who want to enhance and rejuvenate their face without surgery. This treatment uses a combination of injections to fill hollows and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
What are my options?
There are lots of options for patients interested in a liquid facelift. Options are often combined with other treatments to provide the most natural-looking results. Here’s a few:
  • Fat Transfer – During this treatment fat is removed from a part of the body and used to fill areas of the face. Fat is often obtained from the abdomen, hips, or thighs to naturally enhance the face.
  • Fillers – Injectables such as JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, RADIESSE®, or Sculptra® Aesthetic can be used together to restore volume. They can also smooth out wrinkles, enhance lips, and prevent future signs of aging by stimulating collagen production.
  • BOTOX® Cosmetic – This option works best when combined with other non-surgical facelift options to soften forehead wrinkles, enhance the brow, or sculpt the face with jaw reduction or non-surgical neck lift.
  • KYBELLA® – This solution is for reducing the appearance of a double chin gradually over time and may be combined with other office treatments.

Who is a candidate?
This method of rejuvenation is best for patients who are looking for a more youthful appearance, but are not ready to undergo surgery or previously had facial surgery and want to maintain their results. Patients who want to enhance their central face should consider a liquid facelift, whereas patients who want to improve skin laxity are typically better off with limited incision facelift surgery.
In September, Dr. Chaboki had the amazing opportunity to be asked to give a presentation on BOTOX and headaches at the Virginia Hospital Center to share his knowledge with other industry members.
In October Dr. Chaboki will be attending the annual meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Not only will he be learning more about the latest and greatest in cosmetic facial surgery, he will also have the opportunity to discuss with colleagues from all over the world.
