Numbness is most commonly seen near the ear lobe. Most numbness resolves within a couple weeks, but may take a few months for resolution.
Another sensation felt following cosmetic surgery is tightness or stiffness of the cheeks, jaw line, and neck. This tight sensation is expected, and gradually improves with time. Patients wear a gentle elastic wrap around the head & neck, which will also contributes to a “snug” feeling.
