Is there hair loss after brow lift surgery?

Hair loss (alopecia) may occur with any procedure involving the scalp region. Some brow lift surgeries involve incisions hidden within the hair. That being said, brow lift patients generally do not have hair loss with surgery. Hair loss that might occur is normally temporary. Hair follicles are “hibernating” and re-grow with time. Lastly, hair is not shaved during surgery.
