Upper eyelid surgery (i.e. blepharoplasty) is tremendously popular worldwide, but especially popular in central and east Asian countries. The terms double eyelid surgery or Asian blepharoplasty refer to an upper eyelid surgery that creates or defines a crease in the upper eyelid, which normally isn't present.

The procedure was performed with local anesthesia and light IV sedation. The creases were brought lower and made more symmetric, using the existing scars. After results are a couple months after plastic surgery, and the pink scars continue to fade with time in the healing process. The eyelid crease now maintains the patient's desired position, height, and symmetry.
