Asian Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 213
Before & After
Case Details
Upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is one of the popular cosmetic procedures for men and women who want to improve their appearance. Eyelid surgery reduces excess fat, tightens skin, and/or improves symmetry. Eyelid surgery, as with any plastic surgery, is tailored specifically for each patient.
This young Asian woman had always considered upper eyelid surgery to help improve an upper crease. Creating a double eyelid or upper crease may help "open" the eye. She had consulted with facial cosmetic specialist Dr. Chaboki to review upper eye options. She desired a small upper crease that tapered toward the nose.
A conservative upper Asian eyelid surgery was performed via awake, local anesthesia. Just the upper eyelid area was numbed, and the patient was comfortable throughout the procedure. A small amount of skin was removed and the tissue tightened with dissolving sutures. After photographs are a couple of years after blepharoplasty surgery. The scar is barely noticeable and her eyes are conservatively more open as desired.
