Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) Before & After Case 232
Case Details
The eyes are a universal sign of beauty and often the first area one considers for plastic surgery. Extra skin and fat develops in the eyelids and around the eyes. In addition, the brow gradually descends with time, especially the sides of the brow. Sagging tissue can make the eyes appear smaller, narrower, or fatigued with time.
This Washington DC area patient had considered eyelid surgery for years, but wasn't sure if a brow lift was necessary. She was referred to facial plastic surgeon Dr. Chaboki to review plastic surgery options. In this case, before photographs demonstrate a crowded upper eye from excess skin, excess fat, and a droopy brow. She underwent an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and limited incision brow lift. While still healing, her natural results from the combined brow lift and upper eyelid procedure are several weeks after surgery.
