Upper eyelid surgery!

This woman, similar to her friends and family, wanted upper eyelid surgery for years. She was familiar with the double eyelid surgery, a very popular procedure among younger patients. However, she was afraid of possible unnatural results that she had seen in other Asian patients.

She consulted Dr. Chaboki of Potomac Plastic Surgery to review cosmetic surgery options for her eyes. She preferred a small crease and conservative changes. Examination revealed lack of crease on both eyes and thicker skin. She underwent double eyelid surgery, referred by some patients as "Asian eyelid surgery", via local anesthesia. A small crease was created and the inside fold preserved to enhance natural results. Dr. Chaboki typically uses the incision technique and a small amount of skin is removed.
