Upper eyelid surgery in an Asian patients who want to define their crease. Asian patients who request eyelid blepharoplasty generally want to create a crease or to enhance an existing crease. Before undergoing eyelid plastic surgery, patients might use tape or glue to temporarily shape an eyelid crease.

This patient consulted with Dr. Chaboki for his expertise in eyelid surgery. He typically prefers the incision technique where a small amount of skin is removed. She did not have an eyelid crease and wanted a small crease. She underwent upper eyelid surgery via awake, local anesthesia to create a crease. Recovery was uneventful.
