Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) Before & After Case 316

This young woman sought the expertise of Dr. Chaboki, a facial plastic surgeon in Washington DC, to address concerns about lower eyelid area, in addition to the entire face. She had previously consulted with plastic surgeons before finding Dr. Chaboki. She didn't find a good fit during the other consultations and liked his conservative approach.

Upon examination, it was determined that she had excess fat in the lower eyes, but also lacked sufficient fat volume in the upper cheek and midfacial area. The shadow created by the excess volume of the eye above and insufficient volume of the cheek below contributed to her dark circles.

To address these aesthetic concerns, the patient underwent lower eyelid surgery to remove excess fat using hidden incisions inside the pink of the eye, avoiding external scars. Additionally, Dr. Chaboki used a specialized micrografting technique to perform facial fat injections and sculpt the face. Fat was placed in multiples areas to soften shadows, which included the temples, upper eyelid, lower eyelid, cheeks, smile lines, and lips. Recovery was uneventful and the patient returned to work relatively soon after the procedure, which is typical with this type of plastic surgery.

After results are approximately two months after surgery. The patient's lower eyelid bags were significantly improved. In addition, the face appears rejuvenated with a vibrant and healthy glow.
