Brow Lift Before & After Case 28
Before & After
Case Details
Excess skin and sagging, droopy tissue of the upper eyelid and eyebrows contribute to the aging face, but may also affect vision. The terms dermatochalasis and ptosis refer to this eyelid condition. Patients often seek upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) for improvement.
This northern Virginia woman had difficulty with vision and inquired about possible plastic surgery. She had initially underwent upper eyelid surgery, but had persistant heavy, droopy eyebrows despite the initial surgery. After consultation with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Chaboki to review options, she decided on an endoscopic brow surgery to further lift sagging tissue. The endoscopic brow lift is performed via small incisions hidden in the scalp to reposition the droopy eyebrow. This plastic surgery for Virginia area residents is typically performed via local anesthesia combined with IV sedation. Her vision has improved with the added benefit of a more youthful, balanced appearance.
