Case Details
A man's nose generally is larger and wider, as compared to a woman's nose. Rhinoplasty in male patients conservatively reduces the size of the nose, as appropriate. However, sometimes a nose should be made larger, in order to appear more proportionate and natural.
This patient wanted to improve his profile and refine the nasal tip. Uncertain of the rhinoplasty methods to enhance the nose and achieve his desired results, he consulted with Dr. Chaboki to review various rhinoplasty techniques. Dr. Chaboki recommend augmenting the bridge and root of the nose to improve his profile. In addition, narrowing of the nasal tip would be conservative to maintain natural results. Dr. Chaboki reviewed chin augmentation too, which can secondarily improve the appearance of the nose.
The patient underwent closed rhinoplasty and septoplasty. The patient also had a silicone chin implant (large size) via an incision hidden under the chin. Natural rhinoplasty results were achieved with conservative changes and without breaking his nasal bones.
