Advanced cosmetic treatments with relaxers and fillers are routinely performed in our plastic surgery office. Relaxers include Botox Cosmetic®, Jeuveau®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®, while fillers include many brands such as Restylane®, Juvederm®.

Nips and tucks with surgery are still required for those with excess skin. However, everyone is not necessarily ready for surgery.

Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid to help smooth skin and reduce shadows by adding volume to skin and tissue. Typical areas for filler include the lips, smile lines, cheeks, and under eyes. The chin and jawline are other advanced treatment areas requested from Dr. Chaboki.

This younger patient wanted to improve his chin. He disliked his relatively ill-defined and soft chin. As a busy Washingtonian, he wasn't ready for neck liposuction or chin surgery with implant. Dr. Chaboki offered filler injection to temporarily improve definition. He underwent filler injection with Voluma to enhance the chin. Notice the neck secondarily improved with Dr. Chaboki's technique. With results typically lasting over a year, he is enhanced without appearing “overdone”.

A weak chin is more commonly treated with surgery, such as liposuction and silicone implants. For those who aren't ready for surgery, then fillers by Dr. Chaboki may be considered.
