Rhinoplasty - Cosmetic Before & After Case 63
Before & After
Case Details
The nasal tip consists of skin, muscle, and cartilage. Many patients with a round, bulbous, or droopy tip commonly have excess nasal cartilage. During a smile or laugh, the nasal tip can have excess movement leading to and undesirable and exaggerated droopy appearance.
This Washingtonian had considered rhinoplasty for years for her nose which was "too droopy". She had a bulbous, droopy tip which greatly exaggerated when she smiled. She consulted with cosmetic surgeon Dr. Chaboki, to help determine rhinoplasty options. She underwent a closed (endonasal) rhinoplasty to refine the tip. No bone reshaping or osteotomy was required to achieve her desired results. The nasal tip cartilage was reduced & narrowed without external incisions. She has natural rhinoplasty results with Dr. Chaboki's conservative technique.
