This patient always felt her nostrils were too big and her nasal bridge was flat and wide. The nostrils were narrowed and the bridge of the nose was augmented naturally with the patient's own cartilage. If possible, using cartilage from the septum or ear is generally preferred during rhinoplasty, as compared to artificial implants. Her nose is now more balanced.
