Botox and Restylane are popular cosmetic treatments for Washington DC area plastic surgery patients. Botox is commonly used to relax wrinkles around the eyes, but may also be used on facial muscles to "slim" the face. Restylane, a hyaluronic acid filler, helps smooth skin by adding volume. Wrinkles, folds, and dark circles may even be present in younger patients, which may start to develop around the 20's.

This younger patient wanted to improve dark circles in the lower eyelid without surgery and consulted with Washington DC facial plastic surgeon Dr. Chaboki to review options. He underwent a conservative Restylane injection in the office to help smooth out the lower eye bags. In addition, Botox jaw reduction was performed to slim the lower part of the face and relax the masseter muscle.
