This Washington DC facial plastic surgery patient had consulted Dr. Chaboki to review options to improve her forehead. She previously had steroid injections in the forehead by her dermatologist, which resulted in a depressed area and thinned skin.

After speaking with Dr. Chaboki to review potential options, she chose a facial filler to add volume to the depression and Botox to relax the forehead muscle wrinkles. The combination treatment resulted in a smoother forehead with an improved and natural appearance. Her forehead filler lasts over a year, while her Botox last several months. Surgery with a forehead lift was not an appropriate option for this patient, as the forehead unevenness was due to thinning of the skin and muscle activity primarily.
