Dermal Fillers Before & After Case 223
Before & After
Case Details
Enhancement of the eyes is a common request in a plastic surgery office. One can appear tired or low energy despite various eye creams and topicals. Despite a healthy lifestyle and diet with plenty of sleep, vibrant energy may not show in the eyes for a variety of reasons. Nonsurgical eyelid rejuvenation involves fillers and relaxers to help achieve a rested appearance.
Fillers reduce shadows and add volume. Plastic surgeons use the added volume to sculpt the face and help camouflage both dark circles and bags. Fillers are office treatments as part of a liquid facelift which can also plump lips, soften facial wrinkles, improve temporal hollows, and augment cheeks.
Relaxers work by relaxing the muscles around the eyes and forehead. These relaxers soften the wrinkles around the eyes and give a more rested and refreshed appearance. Relaxers can also achieve a nonsurgical brow lift is some patients.
This Washington DC patient wanted to improve chronic eye bags and wasn't ready for eyelid surgery. She consulted with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Chaboki to review various options. She underwent a combination of fillers and relaxers around the eyes. She also had fillers around the mouth to soften smile line wrinkles. Her friends report that she still looks like herself, but a more rested and enhanced version of herself. As with all our loyal patients, she continues with Dr. Chaboki for periodic treatments to further improve and maintain results.
