Fat Transfer Before & After Case 41

Maryland plastic surgery is both cosmetic and reconstructive. Procedures typically considered cosmetic surgery in Maryland may be performed for reconstructive purposes and vice versa. This patient consulted with facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Chaboki, for options to improve facial asymmetry due to a sunken and very small left cheek bone since early childhood. The patient had already undergone numerous plastic surgery procedures outside the US. After considering several plastic surgery options with Dr. Chaboki, the patient underwent a silicone cheek implant and facial fat injections on the left side to help create facial balance and improve the asymmetry. The patient is now more confident given the reduced attention to the congenital abnormality.
