Rhinoplasty - Medical Before & After Case 324
Case Details
Long term results of closed, preservation rhinoplasty!
These photographs demonstrate natural results over 4 years after rhinoplasty surgery. While individual results and experiences will always vary, the closed approach to rhinoplasty tends to result in less swelling and more predictable healing. Dr. Chaboki performs all types of rhinoplasty procedures, but he typically uses a closed approach for nasal surgery, which avoids an external scar.
Preservation rhinoplasty is considered by some surgeons as advanced technique. This specific approach allows surgeons to reshape the nose while minimizing disruption of native anatomy. Similar to other nasal surgery, preservation rhinoplasty can treat both the internal and external aspects of the nose including a deviated septum or chronic sinusitis. In this case, the bump was not shaved, rather it was pushed down to create a smoother profile with preservation rhinoplasty.
This patient consulted with Washington DC rhinoplasty surgeon Dr. Chaboki to review options. Consultation with Dr. Chaboki, one of only a few select surgeons who performs closed, preservation rhinoplasty, allowed the patient to review potential rhinoplasty options to improve the appearance of the nose. Examination revealed a deviated nasal septum, nasal bump, and droopy tip. The nasal tip also dipped further with smiling.
After photographs are several years after plastic surgery, which demonstrates natural results without a "scooped" appearance.
